NEW PRODUCTS: The QTX QX series low impedance passive cabinet music speakers

Compact, durable speaker cabinets designed for multi-purpose sound reinforcement. The sturdy moulded enclosures feature flying points for mounting from suspension wires and a 35mm socket for pole mounting. Deep porting and efficient drivers enable these cabinets to accurately reproduce a balanced and evenly dispersed sound output.
Today we paid a visit to Ash Manor Leisure Centre in Ash to investigate reported faults in their portable sound systems… it was no surprise to us that this particular wooden cabinet speaker was not functioning properly with the speaker magnet assembly having broken off completely from the chassis. Along with the wooden cabinet itself being shattered behind the grill, we have deemed this speaker beyond economic repair!

Class-D miniature stereo amplifier delivering up to 2 x 60W output with Bluetooth and WiFi streaming capability. Controlled from an Android or iOS smart phone, the S260-WIFI is compatible with freely available apps to stream music and podcasts directly from a WiFi network. Embedded internet radio offers high quality digital audio from almost any online radio station or podcast available worldwide. Subscription services can store online playlists which can be cast directly from the internet without requiring the smart phone to be connected to the network. Wireless streaming of tracks and playlists stored on the smart phone can be sent from within the app or directly via Bluetooth to the amplifier. A line input is seleAdastra S260-WIFI internet streaming and Bluetooth digital amplifierctable for connection to a TV, CD, DVD or other playback device if required. All new Silent Disco sets from W Audio
A UHF silent disco set with up to 3 x wireless transmitters for use with the W Audio SDPRO silent disco wireless headphones. There is no limit for the number of headphones receiving from each transmitter, up to three transmitters maybe used if each transmitter is switched to a different channel allowing up to three audio sources to be played back to the audience. The RF transmission system operates on 863-865Mhz in the license free CH70 spectrum

Powering It All Back Up
For a lot of us, it’s been over a year since a lot of equipment (sound systems, computers, lighting and otherwise) have been turned on or even looked at. Batteries will have failed, mechanics will have seized and dust will have built up.
It’s always safest to call in a professional to check over your system prior to switching it back on after such a long time, but should you have already taken the plunge and switched it all on and things aren’t quite right, give Sound Services a call and we can come and check over your system. Whether it’s a small portable sound system and complete leisure centre PA, we can service your system.
Even if you’ve turned it all back on and all seems fine, we can offer a PAT Services (Portable Appliance Test) on all and any mains operated equipment for your peace of mind.
