8 x 8 Analog and 8 x 8 DANTE Audio Matrix with DSP and 8 GPIO. The NMX-88D is an audio matrix with a digital signal processor (DSP) that offers a complete and versatile solution for audio signal management and processing. With this matrix, sound systems can be configured with simple control for the end user. It features powerful audio signal processing tools to adapt and enhance the signal to any venue or application, and obtain the best results for sound distribution. It is based on an ADI SHARC 21489 architecture, with 40-bit floating point and high processing capacity (400 MIPS, 1600 MFLOPS). Processing can be applied to both analog channels and DANTE digital channels. Each channel has a volume control that can operate independently or link two channels to form a stereo channel. The assignment matrix allows inputs to be assigned to outputs with independent volume in each assignment, making it possible to select a different mix for each output. Up to 16 scenes that can be loaded and a memory function with auto-save of the parameters selected in the last session. 8 GPIO ports for controlling actions on the matrix or other devices. For conference system applications, it has PTZ camera control for debate tracking.

The matrix features powerful modular configuration software. You can configure each input channel with 5 different processing modules and each output channel with 4 processing modules. The processing algorithms have extensive parameterization. It enables great flexibility in configuration and customization to provide a solution for each installation, such as audio distribution, conference systems, etc. The configuration software can manage several matrices to form a complex system.
With the software it is possible to create customized control panels to run on touch screens, tablets or smartphones (Android and iOS), where it is possible to display exclusively the functions needed for each user.
The matrix can be connected via an Ethernet port. It has UDP, RS-232 and RS-485 connectivity, and a communication protocol for integration with other control systems.
Thanks to its flexibility it can be used for voice applications such as conference systems or video call rooms and in music systems in restaurants, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

ZED-18 features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design which utilises MusiQ – with optimised slope (or Q factor) for equalising individual instruments.
Based on the proven pre-amps from the hugely successful PA series, ZED-18 has DuoPre pre-amps, which use a two stage design, with carefully controlled amounts of gain in each stage. When amplifying the signal from the XLR input, the gain range is huge – 69dB of range to be exact – and is very evenly distributed around the gain control, meaning better control of signal level. Most of the gain comes from the first stage, so unwanted noise is kept to a minimum. Line level signals are simply plugged into the second stage of the pre-amp by using the line input jack socket, which has the great advantage of less noise when using the line input and also matching to a higher input impedance.

Noise Suppression (ANS) effectively eliminates static noise other than speech. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) ensures that the inputs have an optimal level.
