Q Audio QDP-1 wireless microphone paddle antenna

The Q-Audio QDP-1 is a wideband active UHF antenna designed for use with the QAD-4 splitter. It features a 5/8″ female thread for mounting on standard microphone stands, allowing flexible positioning for optimal signal reception. Built-in amplification helps maintain RF signal strength over long cable runs, ensuring reliable performance in professional audio environments.

The Q-Audio QAD-4-compatible UHF wideband active antenna is engineered for professional wireless audio applications requiring consistent RF coverage and signal stability. Designed to interface seamlessly with the Q-Audio QAD-4 antenna splitter, this unit incorporates a 5/8” female thread mount, enabling secure attachment to standard microphone stands. This mounting option facilitates optimal elevation and directional placement, which is critical for maximising RF reception and minimising multipath interference in live or broadcast environments. The active circuitry within the antenna provides gain to compensate for cable losses, ensuring a strong and reliable signal path to the splitter and connected receivers.

QAD-4 4 way UHF aerial and power distributor for operating up to four UHF multi-frequency diversity receiver units with one pair of antennas

The Q-Audio QAD-4 is a professional UHF wideband antenna splitter designed for use with up to four radio microphone receivers. Its dual 1:4 configuration supports diversity systems and is compatible with two Q-Audio QDP-1 active antennas or most BNC-connected UHF antennas. Ideal for reducing RF interference and signal dropouts in multi-channel wireless setups.

This UHF wideband antenna splitter is engineered to support RF signal distribution to up to four radio microphone receivers, making it well-suited for demanding multi-channel wireless audio environments. Utilising a dual 1:4 active splitter architecture, the unit accommodates up to four diversity receiver systems—each requiring two discrete RF inputs—via two independent signal paths. This allows for the integration of two Q-Audio QDP-1 active directional antennas, or most other BNC-connected UHF antennas, providing broad compatibility and flexibility in system design. The splitter maintains consistent impedance matching and offers low insertion loss to preserve signal integrity across the entire UHF spectrum. By centralising antenna distribution and reducing the need for multiple passive splitters or redundant antennae, the system significantly reduces the potential for intermodulation distortion and RF congestion. This results in enhanced frequency coordination, improved reception stability, and reduced dropout risk, making it an essential component for high-density wireless microphone deployments in live production, broadcast, and theatrical applications.

Frequency range: 470-870 MHz

Covers channels 38, 46, 47, 48, 65, 70 and more

Size 1 – rack unit (or free standing)

Power supply: 230v AC

For diversity receivers – 2 aerial inputs each with 4 outputs

Low-voltage 12v DC outputs for power supply of 4 wireless microphone receivers

Wireless microphone systems require knowledge of OFCOM licensing and the working practices and requirements when using multiple wireless microphones simultaneously and systems should be installed and set-up by experienced users

Please note that wireless microphone transmitters will only work with their matching wireless microphone receivers from that manufacturers matching range of equipment.

Citronic TU2-N dual Ch 65 & 70 UHF wireless microphone system with 2 bodyworn transmitters, 2 x clothing clip microphones and 2 x headworn microphones

True diversity UHF wireless microphone system with four individually programmable channels that sync to each transmitter to set the carrier frequency, EQ settings, transmission power, and even the display backlight colour for identification. Transmitters are available as either rugged handheld microphones with a high-quality dynamic capsule in a full metal housing or as a compact bodypack with a choice of neckband or lavalier microphones, all with fully balanced signal connection. Twin BNC antennas can be connected at the rear of the receiver or to the front panel when 19″ rack-mounted using the supplied BNC extension cables. Channels are selectable for all 4 channels within the license-free UHF and duplex gap bands, arranged in 8 groups of 8-16 carrier frequencies. Both receiver and transmitter settings are programmed via a front panel full colour TFT display with a rotary encoder for parameter adjustments. Each channel has a further backlit display that corresponds to the display on each transmitter and sync’s wirelessly via an IR connection, avoiding the complication of multiple controls on each transmitter. For uncompromising wireless performance, the TU4 has been designed to provide a reliable and adaptable system for stage performances, conferences, theatrical productions and other vocal duties.
